This site is all about me. Yup. “Me, me, me”. The things I do, the things I used to do, stuff I like, stuff I don’t like. It’s a personal site, nothing commercial about it. In a sense it’s a bit of an experiment—HTML5 and all that—but mostly it’s just me getting all wound up about something or other.

If you don’t like that, or would rather it was about something else, then –sorry– you’re shit out of luck.

Oh, I’m Fred by the way. Fred K. That’s not my real name but it’s as good as it gets. Pleased, I’m sure.

About the site

The site is built with as-valid-as-can-be HTML5 and CSS3, with some special details that are at the moment restricted to a few standards-compliant web browsers. Older browsers that have little or no support for HTML5, CSS3 and newer techniques are not supported –this includes otherwise fine browsers like Safari 1-3, Firefox 1-3, Opera 1-9, Chrome 1 and earlier, and of course MSIE 1-8. It’s currently best viewed on a desktop computer with a screen that is at least 15" wide and has a minimum resolution of 1024x768 pixels, or a handheld device which uses Webkit for its browser. Work is being done on a more flexible solution to accommodate more screen sizes but it’s not ready yet.
